The first and most important part of selling your item is to properly describe it in the item's description. When drafting your item's description you have to ask yourself, what questions would I ask if I were looking at this listing? Adding a link to the manufacturers website is also a good idea.
Next you should have a good set of pictures to accompany your listing. You can use up to 3 for each listing. USE THEM. People like pictures.
Contact information is important as well. Some people prefer to talk with sellers on the phone. Listing your contact telephone number will increase your likelihood of selling your item. This practice also lets potential buyers know that your item is legitimate and you can be contacted in the event of any problems during the transaction.
Choosing the correct category can make all the difference in the world. If someone is searching for a BMW Z3 and its listed under the parts category its going to be much harder for the potential buyer to locate. Search through the different categories we have available and choose the one that best fits your item.
Your items title is one of the best ways to get your listing noticed. Titles are the first things that buyers see and they also contain the keywords that our search function is based on. Try to be as descriptive as possible and use words that you believe potential buyers would search for.
With all this in mind its time to start selling. Place your listing and take a look. If you want to change any part of it later, everything is editable from your "My Account" page.
